Arvest Winterfest Activities

It's worth a trip to Winterfest just to see Oklahoma's tallest outdoor Christmas Tree. Just steps from the rink sits the towering 44’ tree that glows nightly with over 35,700 lights. The massive structure has 109,534 tips and a diameter at the base of nearly 25 feet. The magically-lit tree provides the perfect backdrop for holiday photographs and caroling.

Enjoy a festive ride through the streets of Downtown Tulsa on a horse-drawn carriage courtesy of Dreamcatcher Carriages. The exquisite old-fashioned carriage holds up to six passengers and is a magical way for a family to spend some quality time together. Check the Winterfest calendar for days and hours of operation. The carriage loading zone is located on the West curb of Denver Avenue just adjacent to the main entrance of the BOK Center.
Price: $10 per adult, $5 per child (for a 15-minute ride)

The Tulsa Figure Skating Club (TFSC) has a history almost as long as the United States Figure Skating Association. Believe it or not, Tulsa actually built the first man-made ice rink in the country below the Mason-Dixon Line. The tradition continues this holiday season as club members from all age groups are slated to perform at the Arvest Ice Rink at Winterfest.

In all, 10 sanctioned exhibitions are scheduled in Downtown Tulsa.  The rink will be closed for roughly 20 minutes each time as Tulsa's rising figure skating stars take the ice.  The public is invited to watch the holiday routines free of charge.

The Tulsa Figure Skating Club will perform (weather permitting) on:

Daisy the "Face Painting Lady" will be in the warming tent on weekends during Winterfest offering her face painting services for kids and adults of all ages.  Most designs take only 2-3 minutes to complete and are done with brilliant colors of non-allergenic paint.  A dusting of glitter is added at the end to make the designs truly eye-catching.  The art can be removed by a wetnap or hand lotion and water and are safe for kids.
